Unit One Vocabulary - Talking Business
Lee is going to be absent for Core One. (He’s been arrested - haha) He’ll be back for Core Two.
Here are the lessons to work on in Core One:

= take some time to look at the model answers from last Thursday’s Writing Practice and see how they  compare to your own writing. The goal is to learn from the model answers and improve your own writing.


= open and make a copy, then start practicing some vocabulary connected to this unit’s theme.

EAP = English for Academic Purposes.
EAP is a course that will help you with your essay writing and with
university classes, and it will help also you on an IELTS test!
EAP 140 is an 8 week course.
EAP 145 is another 8 week course.
You have to write the 125 Exam with a 70% overall score and a 60% score
on the Writing part of the test.
If you have a 5.5 on the IELTS, you can enter 140 without taking
the 125 Assessment Test.
This Friday September 18th is the 125 Assessment Test.
Tell the Office if you want to take the 125 Assessment Test.
EAP 140 starts next Tuesday, September 22nd.
