- egg cartons
- milk cartons
- coffee cups
- coffee cup lids
- paper

4. Do you think you could recycle more? If so, what would encourage you to you recycle more?

  • for one day people could collect cups and return them for five cents
  • binners = people who go through the garbage and collect things that they can sell or use. They’re usually poorer people and maybe homeless.
  • we cut down a half a million trees in Canada to make coffee cups.
  • The city has a love affair with coffee.
= Vancouver has a love affair with coffee, hockey, bicycling, hot dogs, sushi, Tim Horton’s, etc.
  • one woman collected 400 cups in two hours = $20.00
  • bringing awareness to consumer behaviour
  • hopes it will empower people and push for change
  • The Coffee Cup Revolution
  • we use tens of thousands of to go cups every day in Vancouver
