Speaking 8-1 Interview Practice - Students’ Answers


Do you think young children should learn to speak a foreign language at school?
  • to enrich their knowledge.
  • yes, but from secondary school after they know their native language well.
  • it’s beneficial to finding a job after you graduate.
  • you can more easily to accept different cultures.
  • it’s more efficient to learn a foreign language at school because there’s a teacher to teach you.



Are there any languages you would like to learn? What are they? Why?
  • German because I like the sound.
  • Chinese because many students here are Chinese.
  • French because I want to live in France.


What activity do you find most useful for learning English?
  • Chatting with our teacher.
  • make friends with people who can’t speak your language.
  • reading non-fiction.
  • watching movies without subtitles.


What do you find most difficult about learning English?
  • grammar.
  • pronunciation.
= move your mouth. Exaggerate!
= speak powerfully, clearly and confidently.
= listen and copy the sounds that you hear.
= record yourself and notice the things that you can improve.
  • vocabulary.
  • making sentences.
  • understanding different English accents.
