= I don’t have time now to work because I’m studying.

= I don’t have a work permit.

= I used to work at a bank as a Teller, and I found it very stressful, so that’s why I quit.

= I’ve never had a full time job, I’ve only ever had a part time job.

= When I was in secondary school, I had a job teaching students how to draw.

= I have a tourist visa, so if I get a job here, it’s illegal and I will be kicked out of / deported from Canada. I’m just allowed to stay here for six months.

= I’m a student, but I have an online store and I use it to sell some hand made things like jewelry (DJOO-luh-ree).

= I tried to open it on Ebay, but it’s really complicated because of all of the rules. I can’t understand the rules because they’re all in English. In the future, when my English is better, I will try again.

= I worked in a design company for several months. I felt lucky to find a job in which I could work together with professional designers. They taught me how to communicate with consumers.

= I used to have some part time job as a singer when I was in university. It was hard to get a job, so when I got my first pay cheque, I bought a dress for my mom.
