Speaking - Do Well / To Improve

Do Well
  • even if I don’t know what to say, I keep on talking.
  • finding examples from my life that connect to the topic.
  • can find something to say about any question.
  • can talk about my true thoughts and feelings.
  • confident and not afraid to talk.
  • I like to make up my answer.

To Improve
  • pronunciation especially final “s”. = move your mouth, read a script, talk more, listen to a recording of yourself.
  • intonation = I sound a little monotone. = bring more energy when you speak. Imagine you’re with your friends.
  • grammar = I don’t make them while speaking. = practice, read lots and lots of different things, copy the grammar / expressions / vocabulary /  structure that you hear.
  • structure = mixed logic. = practice, read lots and lots of different things, copy the grammar / expressions / vocabulary /  structure that you hear.
  • don’t use new or complex vocabulary. = practice, read lots and lots of different things, copy the grammar / expressions / vocabulary /  structure that you hear.

= the good news / bad news is that it’s all in your control.
